I think the new Amazon Reserved EC2 offering is a great thing for those of us who are trying to migrate existing data center infrastructures into the Amazon Cloud Computing offering, by bringing down the price for good planning. Here is a ZDNET article about the new offering.

Currently training for the St. Patrick’s Day 10K Run in Mission Bay Park, San Diego. Most of my running has been capped at around 5K so I hope I don’t blow a gasket. Back in the day eons ago I used to run 8 miles a day, but with age comes pain and bad habits, how I miss the days when my body was a bit more elastic… Hope all my hockey and soccer playing helps me out, since I can’t get to the gym as much as I would like to.
